and has all you will need for a lovely holiday.

St. Ives
The
town of St Ives has been a popular Cornish holiday resort for many
years. It is a fishing port and at its heart are many traditional
fisherman's cottages along narrow streets and around the harbour.

 |
| Tregurtha
is such a cottage with an enviable sea front position. There are
several fine sandy beaches and excellent walks in all directions.
The famous Tate Gallery in Cornwall is in St Ives and many people
come to see the exhibitions. There are many good restaurants in
the town which, in season, has a bustling night life. Tregurtha
has the advantage of being in a quiet corner, close but not too
close to the centre. |
Cornwall.
| Cornwall is
the peninsula on the South Western tip of England. There is much
to do and visit in this beautiful and unspoilt area. Lands End is
the most western point of the British mainland and the start of
many journeys to John O'Groats in Scotland. Nearby Penzance is a
busy town with ship and helicopter links to the Isles of Scilly.
The famous open air Minack Theatre on the cliffs of Porthcurno is
only half an hour journey from St Ives. The blue seas, golden sands
and towering granite cliffs are amongst the most magnificent views
in Britain. The clarity of the air gives the St Ives' sky a special
light which has drawn artists to this area for many years. |

Tregurtha.
Tregurtha
is in the middle of a terrace of six similar cottages. It was
built in the 1870's as a fisherman's cottage and was modernized
in 1954. The cottage sleeps four comfortably. A cot is available
for infants.
