Stone farm set in a peaceful rural surrounding, yet close to the coast. Stone is a 200 acre dairy farm, where you can wander around or watch the milking. There is a large garden with croquet lawn. We are close to Whitsand Bay and within 400 yards across a field, the cliff path leading down to miles of sandy beach.

The rugged coastline and sandy coves along the bay to Looe and Polperro are only a short drive. Panoramic coastal walks taking in the ancient chapel at Rame head, the quaint fishing and smugglers villages of King and Cawsand, both have small beaches, pubs, and restaurants.

Close at hand is the historical and beautiful Mount Edgcumbe House and County Park which holds theatrical events through the year. All these within 2 1/2 miles of Stone. From Mount Edgcumbe you can take a passenger ferry to Plymouth or from Torpoint a short drive you can use the car ferry.

Plymouth hosts the National Marine Aquarium, The Hoe, the Plymouth Dome. You can take a boat trip around the Plymouth sound and along the Tamar river. Several National Trust Properties are near by to visit.
