Little House is a charming 300 year old cottage which includes original features as well as all mod cons. There is a small garden to the front with a bench for catching the early morning sun.  You enter the front door into the kitchen/diner which has beamed ceilings and slate floor and includes a dishwasher, microwave and mains gas cooking. There is an old Rayburn but this is just for ornamental purposes.

The comfortable lounge with woodburning stove and beamed ceilings contains tv, video, digital box, music system, dvd player and free wi-fi. Here you will find two comfortable leather sofas and an additional tub chair seating 6.   This lounge  leads on to the sunroom which has an additional sofa and tub chair for your to relax in.  There is a door to the enclosed rear garden with open/distant views to the sea, a b-b-q area and a gazebo with table and chairs for outside dining.   There is a washing machine in the outside toilet if needed.

Upstairs there is one bedroom with  a super king size bed  and a feature stone wall, dressing table and wardrobe.  The second bedroom has two single beds, plus a very large wardrobe and set of drawers.  Both bedrooms have exposed cross beams and low window sills.   There is a large bathroom with stand-alone thermostatic shower, bath, wc and wash basin.

All bed linen is provided but please bring your own towels. Gas cooking, hot water and heating (if needed) are included. A meter reading will be taken before and after your stay and the amount of electricity used will be deducted from your security deposit.   Parking is on the road outside the house which is lit at night. 

St. Merryn is a lively village with two pubs Including the Cornish Arms which is now run by Rick Stein,, 3 good resturants (including one with a Michelin Star), Chinese takeaway, Fish & Chip Shop and various other shops including a post office and bakery.  All within walking distance from Little House.   

Apart from beach watersports you also have the Championship Trevose Golf Course less than a mile away, plus horse riding, coastal walks and a cycle path closeby.

Constantine Beach is 1 mile away and there are another 6 beaches within a 3 mile radius. The old fishing port of Padstow is 3 miles away, Newquay is 12 miles and Watergate Bay where you will find Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant is 8 miles away. Little House is situated in the village next to the school and Methodist church.
