This cottage
is part of a small terrace of cottages on the outskirts of the
Cornish town of St. Just which, since the demise of the tin-mining
industry, has become a lively centre for artists and which has
excellent pubs, cafes, shops and galleries.
The cottage
is less than 1 mile from Cape Cornwall, amazing cliffs and coves,
the marvellous Cot Valley and the Cornish Coastal Footpath only
a few minutes' walk away. Within about five miles is the sandy
surfing and swimming beach of Whitsand Bay and Sennen Cove. There
is a golf course at Cape Cornwall, with outstanding views.

There is a living room with a multi-fuel woodburner installed in
the original granite fireplace, with a fully equipped kitchen at
one end. A small utility room houses the washing machine.
The cottage has two bedrooms - one double and one with twin beds.
Bedding is provided, although we do ask you to bring your own towels.
Outside, there is a small back garden with garden furniture, a barbecue,
and sheds to provide storage for bikes, surfboards etc. There is
no off-road parking, but cars can be parked a couple of minutes'
walk from the cottage or one car can sometimes be parked immediately
in front of the cottage if there is space available.
If you are a slightly larger group, we also have another cottage,
Trewerry, just 200 yards away, which also sleeps 4 - so ideal for
friends / families wishing to holiday together. |

Cottage is 5 minutes' walk from the Market Square of this most Cornish
of small towns, which since the end of tin-mining has become a lively
centre for artists and has excellent pubs, cafes, shops and galleries.
St Just is at the very heart of the ancient and mysterious landscape
of West Penwith, with its prehistoric structures and standing stones,
and the industrial archaeology of several thousand years of tin
production. It provides nearly everything you may need for your
holiday, with butchers, bakers, supermarkets, greengrocers and excellent
eating places. It is a perfect place for walkers, birdwatchers,
painters and art lovers, and for all who appreciate the coastline
and beaches of West Penwith.
St Ives and the Tate Gallery are 13 miles away, with Penzance, Newlyn
and Mousehole all within a few minutes' drive. The Eden Project
at St. Austell is within about an hour's drive.
