What a little gem of a cottage! First time to St. Ives, but won’t be our last. From the vase of flowers (from the beautiful garden?) To the very clean and well-appointed home, Rachael and Christian have made us feel very welcome.

I stumbled across your website quite by accident Rachael but I’m so glad I did. We have had a wonderful fortnight staying in Garden Cottage – thank you so much for all your help too Christian. Your cottage and garden are lovely and we have been very much at home here. We came stressed but we will be going home refreshed and inspired!! We have been so fortunate to have enjoyed two weeks of mostly fabulous summer weather. We hope to return and will definitely recommend Garden Cottage to friends. Thank you.
April 2011 – Stefanie and Igor
A lovely cottage which has been decorated with an eye to detail, in fact the best holiday cottage that we have ever been to in England. We had the most relaxing time and enjoyed a full week of sunshine. It was our last holiday in the UK in a long time because we are relocating back to Germany this summer after six years in London, so we appreciate this stay even more. Much love and many thanks.
April 2011 – Liz, Chris and Josh Hand
Rachael and family, we have had a lovely time and have appreciated your cottage in every possible way. Thank you!

Thank you for creating such an amazing, interesting and curly, wavey space, a very magical place, to put a smile upon the face. We came here to step out of the world and focus on our recent engagement. I can report there is no finer place to be in love, because so much love has gone into creating this wonderful cottage. Hope to return again soon.

We’ve all had a fantastic time in your beautiful, artist’s cottage – such care and attention to every single detail, (every day I’ve spotted something new!!). Was great to see you in your studio – and find out you’re an ‘Old Brightonian’. Hope to return very soon.
October 2010 – Barbara and Ben
We’ve had brilliant weather, great food, good walks, hardly straying outside St Ives all week. Probably because this cottage is so nice and light, also well placed just away from all the (other) tourists. Thanks so much and keep up the good work with your art Rachael. We like your prints very much. x

Thank you Rachael and Christian for creating such a perfect holiday cottage. We have loved everything about it especially the garden, art work, view and location. The accommodation really suited our current family needs and our two year old adored playing on the lawn and looking at the “pool” which he later discovered was in fact an ocean. Thank you the cookies, tea sugar milk etc, very much appreciated on arrival.
