The
Captains bedroom features recessed lighting, timbered walls
and stripped floors. High level windows maximize the light
over the built in captains bed with low voltage reading lights
over for cozy evenings. There is an old reclaimed pew from
the seaman’s mission and a Victorian long mirror, next to
the bed you’ll find a small jewelry safe for piece of mind
for valuables. The Lighthouse keepers room is lit from above
by a bespoke lantern light window which rains light down on
the pine double bed. Other interests are the Victorian dressing
room mirror and a old brass ships lamp.
Directly
of this room is the en suite or shared main bathroom with
low level suite and power shower over the bath, there is an
heated towel rail and shaver light over the sink. The second
shower-bathroom is directly opposite the Captains room and
features a push button wc, designer sink with “port hole”
window over, a heated towel rail and slate and tile shower
cubicle.
Upstairs
the 30 ft living area offers light airy living previously
used as an artists studio, with sunlight from dawn to dusk.
There are two three seater settees (1 bed settee) arranged
around a “net barrow” coffee table, the floors are stripped
pine with a large knotted rug. Entertainment is supplied with
a flat screen digital TV, DVD and free view, a CD mini system
and varied reading material.
The
kitchen area is fully equipped with dual fuel hob and oven,
microwave, built in fridge with ice box, coffee grinder and
dualit toaster, there is a 4 seater slate dining table which
can be extended to accommodate 6 or 8. Directly off the kitchen
is the large decked area, a delightful suntrap bordered by
a frosted glass balustrade providing privacy and light, it
is equipped with a slate dining table gas BBQ and your very
own flag pole mast.
The garage is spacious being designed to accommodate a Volvo
Estate and has been likened to a showroom with painted floors
and recessed lighting. The washing machine is provided with
powder and there is a steel games cabinet and darts board.
There’s plenty of room here to store surf boards or beach
equipment and a drying rail is provided. The max head room
for the garage is 2 mtrs 30mm but we can provide parking for
larger vehicles or additional parking at our house less than
a mile away FREE.
RATES start from £580 a week at low season and letting is
from SAT to SAT. Part weeks or long weekends are available
out of season.
