Chy Menydh (pronounced ‘chy meneth’) and Chy Mor are ideally situated in St Ives, just minutes from town-centre galleries and restaurants and a stone’s throw from Porthminster Beach. They are a short walk from the Tate and with close access to the South West Coastpath and St Michael’s Way.
Recently refurbished in keeping with their grade-II historic building status, they are stylishly and comfortably furnished. Kitchens are modern and generously equipped, living areas are spacious, and most bedrooms have views of the harbour and across the bay to Godrevy Island. The houses share a large, secluded garden with barbecue and double garage, and each has its own sunny sitting-out area.

Chy Menydh (‘the house on the hill’) sleeps 8 in four bedrooms: two doubles, one with bunks, and a stunning penthouse double with balcony and additional living area.
Chy Mor (‘the house by the sea’) sleeps 6 in three bedrooms: one double, one double/twin, and a similar penthouse double. Because of the very spacious living area, Chy Mor can comfortably accommodate another single or couple on a full-size double sofabed. Both houses are equipped for 8.
We are open all year round from just £500 per week, welcoming walkers, cyclists, families, couples, art-lovers, surf-lovers and food-lovers.
From autumn 2008 you will also be able to sign up for walking, yoga, art and creative writing as part of your holiday in this inspirational setting.
