Cornhill Farm Cottages form part of a 130 acre, beef and cereal producing, family run working farm. The cottages are traditionally converted stone barns, set in beautiful, open countryside.  Guests are welcome to enjoy all the farm has to offer, from seeing the cows and calves, pigs or minature ponies, to quiet walks around the farm where you can enjoy the picturesque views of St Austell Bay and Luxulyan Valley.  There is undercover parking adjacent to the cottages aswell as a large play area with swings, a slide and a see-saw.

Situated on site there is a farm shop, stocking daily essentials as well as produce including seasonal pots and veg grown on the farm. You will also find honey and preserves, art and crafts supplied by local award winning producers and artists. All you need to ensure you sample the 'true taste of Cornwall' during your stay, as well as being ideal gifts to take home to family and friends.

Passing close by the cottages is the Saints Way ("forth an syns" in Cornish), a 26 mile trail which runs from Padstow to Fowey, through beautiful countryside, including the picturesque Luxulyan Valley where you can see the Treffry Viaduct, (pictured). Along the route a wide variety of flora and fauna can be found.

For those interested in our maritime heritage, the Shipwreck, Rescue and Heritage centre at the historic old port of Charlestown offers an insight into the perils of the sea. In addition to this the National
Maritime Museum is now open in Falmouth. This complex has a wide range of vessels, past and present on display, together with many hands-on exhibits.

The cottages are situated less than 2 miles away from the sandy beaches, which form St Austell bay. They are located within an easy drive of Newquay and the spectacular north coast, all of which offer many quiet coves, beaches, fishing villages and the coastal footpath.

The world famous Eden Project is within walking distance of the cottages and anyone who wishes to walk or cycle, will benefit from a £3.00 discount off the entry price.

There are many opportunities for leisure pursuits, all within easy driving distance. These include: horse riding and cycling on the Camel Trail near Padstow, fishing trips from Mevagissey, walking, ten pin bowling in St Austell to name but a few.

You may wish to visit the many beautiful gardens that thrive in the mild Cornish climate. Of these, The Lost Gardens of Heligan,
Tregrehan Gardens and the National Trust Gardens of Lanhydrock House and Cotehele are well worth considering.

The village of St Blazey and the Cornish Arms (public house), are within easy walking distance of the accommodation, whilst the main shopping centre of St Austell is only a 10 minute car journey away. Further afield, but still within 30 minutes drive is the beautiful cathedral city of Truro.
