The holiday
home is a modern chalet style house constructed
in 1995. It is situated in a cul de sac in the
quiet and secluded village of St Columb Minor
and yet only 10 minutes away from the popular
resort of Newquay with its famous beaches and
golden sands. Our closest beach, “Porth” is only
15 minutes walk from St Columb Minor. The village
itself has a Public House, church, grocery stores,
and country walks.

Fernwood
Fernwood is situated on a small cul de sac
in the quiet and secluded village of St Columb
Minor and yet only 10 minutes away from the

but with easy access to the town and its famous
beaches.
Located on the north Cornish coast, the village
of St. Columb Minor is ideally situated for
touring Cornwall. It is within easy reach of
tourist attractions including the world renowned
Eden Project. The closest beach to Fernwood
is only a 15 minute walk away.
Out of season, the location is perfect for
a quiet holiday. Discounts are available for

Accommodation
From the lounge there are patio doors leading
to a sunny conservatory, which leads out on
to a secluded rear garden with patio and lawn.
The garden backs on to a field where horses
are kept.
There are extensive views of the surrounding
countryside from the bedroom windows.
The lounge/diner is comfortably furnished and
also includes gas fire, television and piano
(which you are welcome to play although it may
be slightly out of tune!).
Sleeps 9/10 we provide a
folding bed which can be placed in any room.
Bedroom 1 is a large room with
King sized bed and matching pine furniture.
Bedroom 2 is a large double
room with double bed, single bed and wardrobes.
(Can be used as a twin if desired)
Bedroom 3 is a compact room
with bunk beds and storage.
Bedroom 4 (ground floor) large double room with
double bed and built in wardrobe with adjacent
shower and toilet. (Can be used as en-suite)
All beds have duvets and pillows.
Further Information
Cots and Highchairs: A cot/mattress
and high chair are available on request for a small
additional charge. Please bring your own cot bedding.
Electricity/Gas: Both is provided
at no extra charge, as is central heating.
Bed Linen: Linen is provided
at no extra cost. Towels are NOT supplied.
We will be charging a fully refundable
bond of £150, this is payable with the balance for the
holiday.
