Lower Grumbla Farmhouse is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the heart of rural south west Cornwall, 3 miles from the mining town of St. Just and 5 miles from the market town of Penzance. There are many beautiful sandy coves and beaches for fishing, surfing and swimming; Nature Reserves to enjoy bird watching and Drift Reservoir nearby is a great place for freshwater anglers.

This is an ideal holiday base for families and groups of up to 12 people; for walkers and ramblers, and anyone wanting peace and quiet and to be able to see the stars at night. There is a local bus service which passes the property and the timetable is posted at the top of the lane.

Lower Grumbla Farmhouse has a large atmospheric kitchen with an oil fired aga in the inglenook fireplace. It is well equipped with dishwasher, fridge, separate 2 ring gas burner and washing machine. There are two sitting rooms, both having double sofa beds which are extremely comfortable.

The main bathroom is on the ground floor, with over-the-bath shower. Hot water and central heating come from a combi boiler. Upstairs there are 3 double bedrooms and one single bedroom, one of the doubles has an en suite bathroom. An extra single bed has been put in one of the bigger double rooms. French doors open out onto the large garden and south facing sun trap. It is ideal for children with a large grassed area and well equipped with swings, slide, trampoline, climbing frame, sandpit, tree house, ball games and plenty of space.

Places of interest nearby: Cape Cornwall, with stunning sea views; Lands End, Sennen Cove, The Minack Theatre, Porthcurno, St. Michael's Mount, Marazion, Mousehole...and many more in this historic tin mining area.
