The excellent Driftwood and Rosevine Hotels are 5 minutes away on foot, the picturesque harbour village of Portscatho with its shops and pubs just 15 minutes via the coast path or 5 minutes by car, and between them provide the best local food from pasties to Lobster. A 10 minute drive reaches the ever popular village of St. Mawes, home to the Hotel Tresanton, and offering access to the Fal estuary and its renowned sailing waters of the Carrick Roads.
