| Grass Court is tucked away down a private lane
well off the main road. Here 80 years ago they used to play tennis
and drink Pimms. We built it this year, 2007; modern facilities, traditional
feel. |

| It is a really quiet and private place yet in the
middle of Rock; a walk to the bakery, Watts butchers, Di’s, Spar and
the fish monger. Two hundred yards the other direction is the newspaper
shop, a splendid French restaurant and the coastal path across the
St. Enodoc golf course to the beaches and to Padstein. There is room
to park all your and your guests cars in the drive, behind the house
is the enclosed garden. An artist’s studio is a part of the building
but little used and not intrusive. |
| Self Catering Accommodation |
Outside there is a hot shower and a tank to wash
your wetsuit in., A wide oak front door opens into the kitchen that
has a slate floor, the sitting room leads off this .It has an oak
floor, 2 sofas and a wood stove. From this the veranda doors open
into the garden.
There is a downstairs loo.
Upstairs two large bedrooms each have their own bathrooms.
The house is warm and light with enough windows and five Velux roof
lights. |

| In the summer there is masses to do in and around
Rock and you can walk to most of it from the house. We who live here
have great fun at the times of the year when Cornwall is empty and
the walks, beaches, restaurants, golf courses, Eden, Falmouth, Fowey
and all the other places of interest are ours. Come down in the weeks
when this house is warm and welcoming and cheap! Great for one or
two couples who want to relax and not wait in an airport with a lot
of other people you don’t know. |
| Prices are all in, beds are made up but bring your
own towels; £350 to £850. Per week and we run from Fridays. We will
facilitate long and short week ends. |
