| Originally a detached Coach House and
Stables, which has just undergone a 3 year renovation project to provide
luxury holiday letting accommodation for up to 10 people+cot. It stands
within the grounds of "The Copperhouse" a grade II listed building
built around 1780. This idyillic rural position is set vaguely in
the centre of a triangle between Truro - Falmouth - Redruth with the
beaches of the South Coast 5 miles, the North Coast 8 miles and Lands
End 20 miles making it perhaps one of the best central positions for
visiting the whole of Cornwall. |

| The Copperhouse stands in the same
grounds as The Old Stables and features a huge iron clad Strongroom
and it is said that the World Copper Price was set from here each
morning. Now granted Mining World Heritage status, the parish of Gwennap
was once said to be "the richest couple of square miles in the world.
With the decline of Mining in the mid to late 1800,s The Copperhouse
reverted to a country house Originally part of the Burncoose Landed
Estate with the Chelsea award winning Nurseries adjacent. It now stands
in its own secluded grounds surrounded by many species of Camelias
and Rhodedendrons. |
