Portwrinkle is a small seaside hamlet approximately half a mile
from Crafthole village on Whitsand Bay, which is just to the west
of Rame Head opposite Plymouth Sound in South East Cornwall. There
are beautiful sandy beaches along the coastline and there are
2 slips in Portwrinkle and a small harbour, and an ideal location
for water pursuits.
The cliff top paths along the coastline are all within a short
walk of the house, as is the 18 hole golf course at the prestigious
Whitsand Bay Hotel. Well established sailing clubs are located
at St Germans and Torpoint. The town of Torpoint has most of the
general day to day needs for shopping with 2 supermarkets, a butchers,
general stores, banks and a post office, hairdressers, beauty
salon, restaurants, plus a wide selection of Public Inns.
Whitsands is ideally situated to travel and explore South East
Cornwall and beyond, along this spectacular coastline you will
find quaint villages and things to do for all ages.
