The front door leads off the short lane from
the pub and the sea (approx. 200 yds) and the kitchen and main bedroom
overlook the attractive courtyard. The cottage, which is all on one level,
has a light, spacious kitchen/living room, two double bedrooms (one with
en-suite shower room and loo), a twin-bedded room, a family bath-room
and an airing cupboard. There is the use of a washing machine and tumble
dryer in an adjacent building. The whole cottage has recently been redecorated
and refurbished, with a newly-fitted and fully- equipped kitchen, new
beds and new carpet. There is a microwave, an oven with hob, a dishwasher,
a TV and video. Linen is no longer provided, but we can arrange for it
to be hired locally.

There is a designated
parking space for one car – additional parking is sometimes available
in Port Gaverne, and also half a mile up the hill in Port Isaac. Port
Isaac has a good small supermarket, a post office and fish cellars which
are still in use and sell first class fish. There is a Tesco superstore
in Wadebridge. In the garden are a bar-b-que, games and seats. Further
afield, there is surfing at Polzeath, sailing at Rock and good food in
Padstow.
Past visitors have thoroughly
