At Rock (3 miles away) you can learn to sail or water ski, play golf, take a fishing trip or you can catch the ferry to Padstow where you can take the ‘Jubilee Queen’ out to Puffin Island or take a speedboat trip around the Camel Estuary.
The Eden Project, the Lost garden of Helligan, The National Trust's Lanhydrock House are all in driving distance for a good day out and are open all year.
