Oakridge Farm. We offer an accessible yet secluded bolt-hole
with some welcome peace and quiet. |

| A perfect location for families, nature lovers
and walkers to explore the wonderful Cornish coast and countryside
or simply soak in the scenery, peace and tranquility. Our converted
granary barn is family and pet friendly and you are very welcome
to bring your well behaved dog. |
| We have a growing family of friendly farm
animals. You can pat Snoopy the miniature Shetland pony and
his companions, play with the rabbits, visit Cuthbert the cockerel
and his wives or watch the wildlife. |

| Accommodation |
| Four of the cottages have been sympathetically
converted from a stone built granary, whilst the fifth is a
studio apartment adjoining the farmhouse. All cottages have
T.V with digital freeview, microwaves, fridges or f/freezers,
night storage heaters or central heating and electric fires. |
| We include all linen, and towels are available
at £4 per person. There is a welcome pack for guests with a
selection of items such as a bottle of wine, fresh flowers,
fair trade tea, coffee, home baked cake or biscuits and some
of our free-range eggs. |
| The cottages are: - |
| ‘Holly’- ground floor apartment sleeps 6;
double bedroom with king-size bed, large twin bedroom and bunk
beds in the third bedroom, bathroom with W.C, shower room with
W.C. The cottage opens onto the garden with small private patio. |
| ‘Pine’- ground floor, two bedrooms, sleeps
four, opens onto the garden, small patio area. |
| ‘Elm’- first floor apartment, three bedrooms,
sleeps 6. One double room, one large twin room and one smaller
twin room. Good views. |
| ‘Beech’- first floor accommodation, two bedrooms,
sleeps 4, double room has a king-size bed. |

| The Gardens and Grounds |
| The barns are set in around an acre of grounds
for guests to enjoy. The large garden to the rear of the barn
has tables and chairs and is perfect to enjoy a barbecue and
watch the setting sun. The garden to the side of the barn includes
benches and a play area. We also have ten acres of paddocks
in which we allow owners to walk their dogs. (Be wary of Snoopy
who likes to chase dogs!) |

play area including swings, slides, see-saws, games barn with
pool tables, table football, table tennis and badminton; 24hr
laundry room, barbecues, parking, payphone in reception area. |

| The local Area |
| Oakridge Farm is just over a mile from the
village of Goonhavern, where there is a pub, post office/village
store, and large garden centre with a pet shop, café and more. |
| We are a short drive from some of Cornwall’s
best beaches, including Perranporth, Holywell and Crantock. |
| Six miles to the south is Truro with its
cobbled streets and cathedral. It has many of the major chain
stores, a variety of small independent outlets, a pannier market
and a farmers market. |
| Six miles north is Newquay, the surfing capital
with magnificent beaches and the best of Cornwall’s nightlife.
|
| Activities available close by include golf,
horse-riding, surf lessons, fishing trips, diving, and cycle
hire. |

| Cornwall is teeming with interesting places
to visit; here are just a few suggestions to get you started; |
| Trerice house, Newquay Zoo, Minack Theatre,
Eden Project, Tate St Ives, Dairyland, Lappa Valley Railway. |
| There are also countless ancient churches,
stone circles, fogous, industrial age engine houses, sleepy
fishing hamlets and of course, 250 miles of magnificent, variegated
coastline to explore. |

| How to find us |
By Road
Travelling west; follow the A30 turn right onto the B3285 to
Goonhavern. Proceed along the road 1 ½ miles, on a bend you
will see signposts for Oakridge Farm, turn left up the lane,
we are the last house. |
| From Newquay; Take the A3075 west to Goonhavern,
turn left onto the B3285 signposted for the A30. After 1 mile
you will see signs for Oakridge Farm, turn right and follow
the signs up the lane. |
Airport; Newquay Airport is 9 miles.
Train; the nearest station is Truro which is 6 miles away. |
