Welcome to the Southwest Bungalow, a self-catering holiday bungalow located in the peaceful landscaped gardens of a 16th century Manor House surrounded by farmland, with views of Mounts Bay and St Michael's Mount from the front entrance to the grounds.

Southwest Bungalow is situated in the grounds of Kenegie Manor, located just outside a small village called Gulval. It is less than 1.5 miles from the centre of Penzance in the picturesque county of Cornwall.

The bungalow is only 1 mile from the A30, which is the main arterial route in and out of Cornwall, which means the accommodation is very easily accessed and ideally located as a starting point to visiting all the attractions Cornwall has to offer.

With all the creature comforts of home it is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area of this beautiful coastline and to do as much or as little as you wish.

Try a walk along the causeway at Marazion to St Michael's Mount when the tide is out! Heading towards Penzance you will see signs for Newlyn famous for its fishing industry and association with the arts. A little further on you will come across the beautiful village of Mousehole (Mowzel) well known for 'The Mousehole Cat' story and the Christmas lights. A visit to this picturesque harbour village is a must for your holiday. (Try the ice-cream, delicious!).

Turn left out of the Manor gateway to St Ives with its lovely beaches, quaint shops, a haven for artists. Pack a picnic and visit Lamorna or Sennen, or one of many other coves situated not far from your holiday home. The Eden Project at St Austell would make a perfect day trip, or visit the legendary Pendennis Castle at Falmouth.

St. Michael's Mount

Southwest Bungalow is a 2 bedroom modern property that has recently been refurbished to a new, high standard which will ensure your stay will be clean, warm and comfortable.

The open plan lounge / dining room comes with a comfortable sofa and dining table with 4 chairs. The lounge is also equipped with a colour TV / DVD/ CD player and radio.

The lounge leads on to the well equipped kitchen, complete with electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge, toaster etc. and the kitchen is stocked with all the necessary crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

There is a private parking space for one car next to the bungalow and two patio areas with table/chairs to use as you wish.

The bungalow comfortably sleeps 4 adults, with the master bedroom having a double bed and the second bedroom having two single divan beds, all made up ready for your arrival. Both bedrooms have a selection of bedroom furniture with ample storage.

The shower room has instant hot water and is equipped with a heated towel rail.

An iron and ironing board are supplied as well as a hairdryer just in case they are needed.

All rooms have electric heating, which is included in the tariff. All bed linen and duvets are supplied, but we ask you to supply your own towels and tea towels.

When you stay at Southwest Bungalow use of the exclusive on-site facilities of Kenegie Manor which are open from the beginning of April to the end of October every year, is included.
