Our eye for detail and passion for collecting has reinstated all the aesthetic charm of bygone days in this Grade 2 listed cobblers cottage. Artistically arranged rooms boast 'old world' style. Downstairs vintage oil lamps, polished copper kettles and classic pieces of china are perfectly displayed on freestanding cabinets and chests.

To add to the welcoming appeal, tasteful curtains and cushions dress the windows, walls are hung with enchanting pictures and dried flowers suspend from beams and rustic baskets. Steep dogleg stairs lead up to snug bedrooms with antique bedsteads (the double is an antique 4' 6" carved french bed) and marble topped washstands.

A door leads out from the living-room into a sheltered courtyard with garden furniture. Step out of the front door and you are literally beside Mousehole's picturesque walled harbour. For the energetic the coast path will take you to Lamorna, or a more sedate stroll into Newlyn.

There are few places remaining in the UK that have retained their original character and Charm in the way that the tiny fishing village of Mousehole has.

Mousehole is a very attractive tourist destination. A small and very safe beach is located in a sheltered part of the harbour which is popular with families, particularly those with small children - an ideal location for family days out, with safe bathing, quite literally at your feet.

Every year at Christmas time, Mousehole is awash with light as the locals adorn their houses, boats and the harbour with Christmas lights. A truly magical sight indeed.

Follow the M5 or the A30 to Exeter then continue on theA30 right through Cornwall to Penzance. Once you reach Penzance take the road marked to the town centre the B3311, as you pass the Penzance Railway Station follow the one way system to the left and swing right. the road to Newly and Mousehole is signposted to the left along the coast road.

As you enter the village of Mousehole, continue along the harbour side, follow the road just past 'The Ship Inn' and you will find little Dorrit, immediately on your right.
