Gardenhouse sleeps 6 to 8 comprising three double bedrooms (one with King Size
bed and two with twin 3 foot singles), a study/CTV/VCR room with a double bed
sofa, a large sitting room with stunning conservatory style views of a private
camellia and magnolia garden, a gallery sitting out area, a modern kitchen with
adjoining dining area with CTV, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave,
full oil fired CH, bath/WC & Shower/WC, patio with furniture and BBQ, card tables
and ample parking. Sheets, drying up cloths and towels are provided for the house
as are washing up liquid and dishwasher powder; please bring beach towels. |  |

In a central location, the property is convenient for exploring
the wild expanses of Bodmin Moor and the north and south coasts of Cornwall. To
the north lie Rock (10 miles), Polzeath and Padstow and to the south the harbours
of Fowey and Charlestown and the Eden Project (12 miles). |
| There is golf available at St Kew (2.4 miles), Roserrow
(8 miles), St Enodoc (10 miles), Bowood (6 miles), Lanhydrock (5.5 miles), Trevose
(12 miles); family membership available at Hengar Country Club (3 miles); floodlit
tennis at Wadebridge (5 miles) and indoor tennis and pool at Bodmin (5.5 miles);
gardens and houses at Pencarrow (2.5 miles) and Lanhydrock; cycling on the Camel
Valley Trail (1 mile) and fishing permits available for salmon and sea trout on
the Camel. St Mabyn Inn with superb food and village shop are 1 mile by footpath
or 1.5 miles by car. Garage with Select shop (2/3 mile). Changeover day is
normally Saturday, although this is negotiable. Please arrive after 3.00 pm and
let us know when. Check out time is by 10.00 am. We are about 2 hours from Bristol
and just four miles from the Helland turn off the A30 just past the Bodmin Airfield
turning. Dual carriageway all the way from Scotland or London less the last 5
miles. Short breaks available off season. If you would like groceries in advance,

Take
Helland minor exit right off A30 shortly after Bodmin Airfield exit and 1.5 miles
after 2 garages on right (exit signed for Launceston in green and then white sign
for Helland). After ¾ mile turn left at X rds following sign for Helland. Go thro'
Helland 2 miles on down hill over Helland Bridge and up hill to T Junction. Turn
right on B3266 for Camelford. Ignore 1st turning left to St Mabyn. Go further
600 yds and take next left turn down lane 150 yds to Menkee. Exeter to Menkee
is 63 miles. Slightly slower, easier alternative: take Camelford, N Coast A395
turning off A30 just west of Launceston. Go thro' Camelford on A39 and at top
of hill turn off A39 onto B3266 for Bodmin, go about 6 miles to garage on left,
Menkee turn off is second turning right ½ mile past the garage. |
