| Trewint has three quality
4 stars self catering cottages each one with its own charm
and character. The self catering cottages - Trewint Cottage,
The Coach House and The Round House - are situated around
the main courtyard of the farmhouse. We also offer 4 star
silver award bed and breakfast accommodation in the farmhouse
with breakfast taken in our spacious conservatory over
looking the garden. |
| Trewint is a true Cornish
working farm 4 miles from the old market town of Liskeard
in Cornwall. It is within easy reach of the coastal towns
of Looe and Polperro. Only 5 milesfrom Bodmin moor guests
have the great expanse of the moor for walking and pony
trekking or just 2 miles away are riding stables. We are
very fortunate to have nearby a selection of National
Trusts Properties with spectacular gardens and walks,
just over 30 minutes away by car you can reach the Eden
Project and the Lost Garden of Heligan. Beaches along
the south coast are ideal for families to explore rock
pools and we are only 45 min away from the north coast
for the keen surfers, also family attractions are close
by for all ages. When planning your day we would be only
too happy to advise you on Devon, (only 20 minutes away)
Cornwall and the local area. |

enjoy a relaxing and stress free holiday at Trewint Farm. |
| We offer a spacious double en-suite
or a large family suite consisting of 2 adjoining rooms
with shower and toilet en-suite leading off the double
room. This family suite sleeps 4/5 is Ideal for children
wanting to be with their parents but having a room of
their own. There are tea making facilities, TV, and both
rooms have separate wash basins. Guest have use of the
lounge with TV and log fire. |

Breakfast is served in our large conservatory where
you can enyoy ahealthy cooked breakfast all cooked in
and on the AGA. Lighter alternatives are available.

| Trewint Cottage is a wing
of the main farmhouse fully self contained. The oak kitchen
is of a high quality with electric oven, hob, fridge,
freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. The ground floor is
all open plan with a cosy snug lounge with leather sofas,
digital TV and video / DVD player. |
| The large main bedroom has a shower
/ toilet en-suite double bed and a sofa bed ideal for
children. Twin bedded room has use of the bathroom with
shaver point, wall heater and heated towel rail. Both
rooms have fine views of the shared garden and patio area. |

| The Coach House joins onto
the west end of the farmhouse. The solid oak kitchen is
fitted with high quality, oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave,
dishwasher and loads of cupboard space. |

wood burner, digital TV, Video & DVD player, with lovely
views across the garden letting you enjoy the afternoon
sun. |

| The Round House, being a
listed building, has plenty of character with thick beams
and high ceilings upstairs giving charm to this old building. |
| On ground level you have
2 bedrooms 1 twin room, 1 double room that can take an
extra bed if needed, bathroom with shaver plug, towel
rail ,and wall heater. |
| Upstairs offers spacious
open plan living with a high quality kitchen with, fridge,
freezer, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and plenty of
cupboard space. You can enjoy the views of the fields
with animals grazing while you have breakfast. |
| The lounge has been decorated
traditionally in golds and reds to give it a cosy feel,
an oak fire place with electric wood effect burner. TV
and DVD player .Glass double doors can be opened upstairs
to let the late afternoon sun. |

| Local Area - Menheniot
|
| The village of Menheniot
is a comfortable 10 minute level walk which provides a
post office and excellent shop with its own bakery, guests
can pick up freshly prepared sandwiches and salads for
days walking around the Cornish Coastal paths. The shop
can also provide families with a take-away on the way
home, allowing guests to relax after a long day exploring
the Cornish beaches, gardens and National Trusts in the
area. |
| The village country pub
is well know for its good food and has a family room and
decking area. The Hayloft restaurant, 5 minutes by car
from Trewint Farm on the A38 serves a fine traditional
English and Italian cuisine or travel into Liskeard to
the ambience of Webbs Restaurant which offers an innovative
and exciting menu, with a wine list to match. There are
many pubs in the area offering quality food using fresh
local ingredients. |
