Penhale is a charming grade II listed fishermans cottage sleeping 4, located in the centre of the ancient market town of Marazion. Believed to be around 300 years old, Penhale provides the perfect base for a holiday in South West Cornwall.

Just minutes away is a safe and sandy beach that also offers access to the causeway leading to historic St. Michael’s Mount.

Nearby are the well known towns of Penzance and St. Ives as well as the coastal villages of Mousehole, Newlyn and Porthleven Marazion itself has plenty to offer those that prefer not to stray too far from Penhale or for guests that simply want a rest from travelling.

You will find numerous art galleries/studios containing work by local artists, pottery and gift shops. The town museum is open from April to September depicting life in old Marazion. There are coastal walks, bird-watching (the local marsh attracts many visitorslooking for a variety of species), windsurfing and sailing.

Those looking to eat out in Marazion will find a selection ranging from 2 cafes, 3 public houses (all serving food) to restaurants. Not forgetting the local pasty shop which is highly recommended.

Further afield, there is an abundance of fine restaurants, generally serving locally sourced produce, a number of which have featured in national publications.
