Our lovely cottage has that ‘miles from anywhere’ feel yet is only a few minutes drive from beautiful, secluded beaches with rockpools and sand; and close to Fowey, Polruan and Lerryn. Eden, Heligan and Lanhydrock are all within easy reach. It is located on a hillside in unspoilt farmland a few hundred yards from a creek which runs into the River Fowey through a wooded valley. |

| The
cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6 : one double bed, and two
twins. Bathroom with shower and wc and separate wc. Kitchen with electric
oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine (tumble-dryer is available)
and is fully - equipped for holiday and family cooking; large dining
room with Rayburn for cosiness; spacious and picturesque sitting room
has a wood block floor, rug, three sofas, TV, VCR and CD player, piano
and open fire in the stone fireplace. Both sitting and dining rooms
have french windows to the garden. The cottage has full oil-fired central
heating and storage heaters. Close to the house is a roofed well with a Delabole stone paved sun area; beyond is the garden with shrubs, trees and grassed areas as well as some flowering plants. There is a shallow, rain-fed pond next to the studio to which guests have access. Garden chairs, table and BBQ available. There is a parking area for two or three cars and the whole property is surrounded by hedges or fencing and is accessed by a gated 80 metre drive from the road. |

Excellent riding stables are very close and there are several golf courses in the area. Local food shopping in Lerryn and Lostwithiel is good. There are picturesque views and a network of footpaths across fields and through green lanes studded with wild flowers for easy rambling straight from the gate.
