Kymaurah Holiday Cottage and Dovecote Couples retreat are in a Cliff top position above Lamorna Cove. Kymaurah comfortably sleeps 6 in well equipped accommodation where 'Dogs are Welcome' as too are Children. You would be staying in a secluded rural location with stunning coastal views yet in easy reach of many of Cornwall's most famous attractions.

The holiday cottages were converted from working farmyard barns and have been designed tastefully to be both functional and stylish with an element of luxury.

The lane passing by Kymaurah, with the ruins of Kemyel Manor on the far side, winds it's way down the wooded valley to the historic artists refuge of Lamorna Cove with a charming Pub, Cafe and village shop.

Kymaurah - Self Catering Holiday Cottage in Cornwall

Kymaurah Cottage is well appointed with sleeping accommodation for 6 comprising of one twin bedded room and two double bedded rooms.

The layout and furnishing has been well thought out to be suitable for either a Family or Couples. This is self catering as good as it gets.

There is a large parking area in front of the cottage and you are welcome to park your car/cars and trailer or boat.

In addition, we have ample open air space for you to enjoy yourselves with outdoor games such as cricket and Football or to exercise your Dog which you are welcome to bring on your holiday at Kymaurah.

Opening the front door takes you into the large lounge living area with a rather chic gallery above. The room is heated by an impressive Wood Burning Stove making your evenings very cosy. You will have use of Video, DVD and a Flat Screen TV. There is a solid pine table and chairs plus a beautiful Pine Dresser which was hand made and adorned with pottery and a dinner set.

There is a very unusual high vaulted ceiling with the original beams in the main bedroom. The decor and soft furnishing blends pastel colours of pinks, creams and wild roses creating a very relaxing and romantic atmosphere.

The second bedroom has a double bed and a sloping ceiling combining azure and cream to create a soothing feeling French Windows lead out to a patio area with traditional Cornish Cobbles adjoining the pretty Cottage Garden.

The Dovecote Romantic Retreat, has undergone a complete refurbishment for the 2006 season offering the ideal getaway for couples.

Dovecote Breaks can be booked as either full weeks or short breaks. This is luxury with a Gothic Styled Theme with in a cornish rural location that only a lucky discerning few discover.

Couples couldn't ask for more, a 'Unique' cottage in a classically scenic setting and a photographers heaven. Just imagine the holiday photos you can take home to keep your memories of your stay at Lamorna alive.

Sumptuous throws a cream leather sofa provide a level of luxury that is difficult to describe, and has to be experienced to be fully appreciated. Just imagine yourselves curled up on a deep pile Indian Wool Rug in front of the Log Burner enjoying a relaxing drink at the end of a day exploring the wilds of West Cornwall. There is a Combination Microwave, a Toaster and Flavia hot drinks dispenser. A Belfast deep sink is set in a solid beech wood top, but it's far more romantic to dine in one of the many beautiful restaurants nearby.
There is a walk in shower and a charming copper wash basin in the bathroom accessed through Gothic style stained glass doors. This accommodation has sea views to augment the luxury and romantic theme designed with Couples in mind with practicality and atmosphere as essential ingredients.
