Nance is between Portreath, Illogan and Bridge approximately 3 miles from Redruth
and the A30. It is an attractive and peaceful setting just 20 minutes walk from
the sea through a bluebell wood. The local beach at Portreath is ideal for
young children to play sandcastles and also for swimmers and surfers. Nance is
a central location to visit all of Cornwall and its numerous attractions - gardens,
mines, adventure parks, etc. Full details of attractions are available on site.
If you feel adventurous you can hire a bike from a neighbouring
farm and cycle along a former tramway from north to south
coast. Alternatively you could have surfing lessons or walk
the coastal footpath enjoying superb views. If the weather
is bad you could get wet instead on the water slides at the
local leisure centre! The farm has cattle, including Highland,
chickens and also sheep in the winter. There are thirty-five
acres of trees and three ponds.
