Here at Boscrowan we have two award winning cottages, each with its own character and charm each being unique in its own way. Peace and Plenty is a reversed level barn conversion that sleeps 4. Ring and Thimble is a thatched cottage that offers ample room for two. Both properties benefit from those special things that make any stay at Boscrowan a holiday to remember. This includes the cream tea on arrival in the privacy of your own cottage, the local apple juice in the fridge, the freshly cut flowers and the high quality of soft furnishings and décor throughout.

Imagine going on holiday to a property furnished in the way you would aspire to have your own, far from the office or the endless chores of our daily lives. That’s why any stay at Boscrowan relaxes you the moment you arrive. On holiday you have time to enjoy cooking in our well equipped kitchens or laze in the garden! Many of our guests have come back time and time again to relax here and enjoy the many local beauty spots, attractions and facilities.

Boscrowan is a 25 acre small holding growing early daffodils and potatoes. You are welcome to wander around our land. We do not have any commercial livestock, just horses, ducks, chickens and our two cats and collie dogs, all of whom are welcoming and friendly and respond well to a friendly pat or stroke. We suggest children come equipped with wellington boots to help collect eggs, feed the cats and dogs and in summer help us look after the chicks and ducklings.

Peace and Plenty is a picturesque barn conversion offering reverse level accommodation, overlooking the main gardens and orchard. The spacious first floor living area maintains many of the original features and a large bespoke wooden kitchen with those extras such as bread maker, food processor, dishwasher and washing machine. There is an electric oven and hob, and large fridge/freezer.

The living area on the first floor has lovely views of the gardens outside from three sides and features a wood burner for those cooler evenings. There is also a television, DVD player, video and CD/tape player.

On the lower level is the main bedroom which has an en-suite shower room including power-shower, wash hand basin and WC.

The twin bedroom offers two single beds and is next to the main bathroom comprising of a bath, wash hand basin and WC. Quality comfortable beds with white cotton bedlinen and soft fluffy bathrobes in both rooms.

The property benefits from full oil-fired central heating and hot water.

Outside there is an enclosed garden and patio area with table and chairs to enjoy the Cornish weather.

There is parking for two cars.

Arrival/departure day is Saturday. Arrival time is after 3.00pm and departure time is before 10.00am. The cottage is available to non-smokers only. Regret no pets allowed. No children under two years of age.

Ring & Thimble offers a truly unique property. Purposefully spacious, the living area and bedroom offer very roomy and comfortable accommodation especially for that romantic break away or special occasion.

For those relaxing nights in, make full use of the beautiful bespoke wood kitchen with granite worktops and an oil fired Aga. Or curl up on the drop end Chesterfield sofa or comfortable armchairs in front of the multi fuel burner and watch TV or a DVD.

French windows lead to the secluded patio area with granite table and chairs. Outside there is a terraced garden and plenty of parking space.

The ash staircase from the living area leads to the bedroom with a glittering chandelier above the half tester 6ft double bed with beautiful embroidered silk drapes, and an area for sitting and contemplating at one end of the room!

Across the landing is the bathroom with travertine floor, roll top bath, separate shower cubicle, wash hand basin and WC.

The kitchen includes dishwasher, fridge, electric hob and oven and food processor.

There is a separate utility room containing freezer, washing machine, tumble drier and microwave.

Enjoy your stay at Boscrowan by visiting some of the many local attractions, whether it be beaches and coves, ancient monuments, historic sights such as the ruined tin mine workings, or the artists community in St Ives.

Boscrowan is located on the outskirts of Penzance in the West Penwith area of Cornwall. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty including the fabulous coastline which, together with its pre-historic and historic past, ensures the visitor a unique holiday.
