Inside the cottage, on the ground floor, there is an entrance hallway, WC, large living room with two comfortable sofas, kitchen and dining room with patio doors opening directly onto the enclosed rear garden. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything from a lemon squeezer to a cafeteria.

Upstairs you will find the bedrooms and the bathrooms. Duvets, blankets, good quality bed linen, towels and tea towels (including beach towels) are all provided to make your stay as hassle free as possible. The cottage provides a level of comfort not often found in a holiday home, with DVD's/videos/board games and a playstation and games for guests to use, together with lots of information on local attractions and activities in the surrounding area. All windows to the cottage are double glazed and it is warm and comfortable. The cottage is ideal for children as the garden is completely enclosed. Well behaved pets are welcome.

In addition to the facilities mentioned above, we have a selection of 19 wetsuits in various sizes, from children to XX large, together with a selection of quality surfboards for guests to use.

There is designated car parking for 2/3 cars immediately outside. The cottage also has its own private, enclosed side access with shower, private (enclosed) garden with outside table and chairs and a BBQ. Outside storage is provided for our wetsuits and boards, which includes a retractable clothes line.

Harlyn Bay is a beautiful sweep of golden sand in an area designated for its outstanding natural beauty, sheltered by Trevose Head with its dramatic cliffs, offering great swimming and surfing as well as catering for everyone from toddlers to anglers and cliff walkers. The beach itself is approximately half a mile wide, there are low rocky headlands at each end of the bay, ideal for rock pooling. The Harlyn Surf school operates from the beach and surf lessons can be arranged.

The quaint fishing port of Padstow (10 minutes drive) with Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant, cookery school and deli is only a ten minute drive away, St Merryn is the nearest village, five minutes drive from the house with a Post Office, butchers, deli. fishmongers and restaurants, there is also a large Tesco store just outside Padstow.

Within a five minute drive there are the equally impressive beaches of Trevone, Constantine, Treyarnon and the Championship Links Course of Trevose.
