Gwithian Towans is
an unspoilt cliff top area with a number of privately owned
Chalets and 2 cafes, The Sunset and The Jampot. It is situated
in St Ives Bay (recently elected to 'the most beautiful bays
in the world club') overlooking Godrevy Lighthouse and 3 miles
of golden sand. it is a good surfing beach with many rock
pools that are ideal for small children and is surrounded
by granite cliffs and sand dunes. Lifeguards are in attendance
during the summer months. There are National Trust walks
along the clifftops to Hells Mouth and beyond. St Ives, Penzance,
Falmouth, Helford Passage and the Eden Project are within
easy travelling distance. The West Cornwall Golf Course is
5 miles away and there are many excellent restaurants in St
Ives and supermarkets in Hayle.
The wooden Chalet
has recently been built and finished to a very high standard,
including natural slate and oak flooring. Available all year,
benefiting from under floor heating, double glazed windows
and modern insulation. The Chalet backs onto a farmers field
and is, therefore, not overlooked.
ACCOMODATION
There is a lounge/dining
room with a large bay window (with views of the sea and lighthouse),
video/DVD/CD and radio are provided, together with a number
of games. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and overlooks the fields.
Bedroom 2 is a smaller front room with a single bed (and matching
pull-out second bed) with sea views.
The modern galley
kitchen, with roof-light and stable door, is well equipped
with washing-maching, dish-washer, fridge-freezer and microwave.
The timber decked area to the rear of the Chalet has table,chairs,
gas barbecue and washing line.

Chalet Bedroom 1
The bathroom is a
large walk-in shower room with WC, washbasin and electric
heated towel rail. Hot water is supplied by a modern mains
pressure water system.
From the hall there
is a sound-proofed door leading into the ANNEX which has a
large lounge with bay window, views of the sea and lighthouse,
TV. A twin-bedded room with an ensuite bathroom (with shower
over the bath), WC, washbasin and electric heated towel rail.
We would suggest the Annex makes an ideal separate accomodation
for friends or grandparents.
The front garden
has patio with table, chairs and deckchairs.

TERMS
• Prices start from £300 rising to
£700 in the high season, for up to 4 people.
• ANNEX available, for 2 additional people, at + half
the cost of the main chalet.
• Short breaks available out of season.
• Prices include electric and bed linen.
• Available 2 pm on Saturday to 10 am on final Saturday.
• 1 dog may be allowed on request.
• No smoking in the Chalet.
• Parking for 2 cars.
