The beautiful
village of Gweek, famous for its Seal Sanctuary, is only a ten minute
walk away, and has a well stocked local shop and post office, tearooms,
and a pub which serves very good food. Within easy walking distance
is a strawberry farm which sells traditional Cornish Cream Teas. Close
to Gunwalloe Church Cove, and Kennack Sands, and the coastal paths, this
is a convenient location for the keen hiker, or for those seeking a relaxing
holiday not far from the sea- The scenery around the coastline of the
Lizard Peninsula is breathtaking, much of it owned by the National Trust.
Rugged and beautiful cliffs shelter picturesque coves, and there are unspoilt
fishing villages, such as Cadgwith, within a short drive. |
