The drawing room area has dramatic unsurpassed views of the
River Fowey. The original chapel organ can be found repositioned
on the rear wall as a decorative feature. The drawing room features
Sky TV, VHS video, and DVD player. From here there is access
via French doors to the terraced garden with marvelous river
views. |

with a 5’ king size antique four poster bed with en suite bathroom.
Bedroom two is a large double bedroom with 4’6” double wrought
iron bed with en suite bathroom. |

Bedroom four has been decorated throughout with a nautical theme
and is suitable for up to three children with three 3 x 2’6”
single beds and a separate half bathroom. Flat screen TV with
built in DVD player. Games provided. |

the dining hall. Bespoke kitchen, with beech and granite work
surfaces is located next to the dining hall. Rangemaster oven,

The kitchen is fully appointed with appliances and all possible
amenities for easy meal preparation and dining. |
The Utility and Laundry Room
Next to the kitchen there is a utility and laundry room. The
room has a slate flagged floor, cupboards and tiled work surfaces.
New LG washer and dryer and wall mounted Honeywell thermostat
heating and hot water controls. |
| Local Area . . . |
| The historic village of Golant, has an excellent
pub which serves fantastic food, small hotel (Cormorant Hotel)
with restaurant and facilities for boat launching. Also within
the village is an Art gallery displaying local artists work.
Golant has around 110 dwellings with a population of circa 220
people. It has a 13th century Parish Church dedicated to St
Sampson. Golant offers wonderful opportunities for sailing,
boating, walking, hiking and nature enthusiasts. |
| Golant is an ideal base for exploring South
Cornwall, with many excellent beaches in the area and absolute
breathtaking coastal walks. The sandy beaches of Polkerris,
Readymoney (Fowey) or Par sands are all within 5 minutes by
car. Carlyon Bay (6 miles) also has many excellent beaches as
well as a golf course. |
| Today most places are touched by the commercial
world, Golant and its surrounding villages, Fowey, Lostwithiel,
Charlestown, Polruan, Looe, Lerryn and Polperro still remain
beautiful, quaint and antiqued to ensure and offer escapism.

Fowey
Golant and Fowey offer wonderful opportunities for the sailing
and walking enthusiast. Golant is only 3 miles from the picturesque
harbour town of Fowey, which can be reached by road (3 miles)
or by boat (2 miles) along the beautiful River Fowey, the setting
for many of Daphne du Maurier's books. Fowey is a mecca for
yachting and offers a variety of unique shops and boutiques,
inns and restaurants, as well as sailing and fishing. |
