Situated about half a mile from the pretty village of Mawnan Smith, Bosilliac is a recently converted, former apple store, set in its own grounds overlooking a wildflower meadow, and beyond open wooded countryside, with the sea shining in the distance. The open plan living area has an oak floor, exposed beams and a log burner for autumn evenings. Outside, ample secure parking, and the spacious grassy meadow where children can play safely, contributes to the relaxed feel of Bosilliac. Falmouth is four miles away and Maenporth beach and Helford Passage about five minutes drive. Accommodation The property has a spacious open plan lay-out. You enter the cottage into the beautifully furnished living room/kitchen/dining room. The decoration has been chosen so that the separate areas co-ordinate to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Natural materials have been used in the lovely solid oak flooring and high beamed ceiling. The large windows look out over the Cornish countryside. The modern oak kitchen has all you need including cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine with dryer. The lounge area has a wood burning stove sitting on a solid slate hearth. A door leads through to the bedrooms and the contemporary tiled spacious bathroom, which has a bath and large walk-in shower. The master bedroom has its own en-suite shower room. Once again this is spacious and tiled throughout. The bedroom with king size bed and walk-in wardrobe has a lovely sunny view across the valley. The other bedrooms are tastefully furnished. There is 1 twin room and 2 single rooms, giving flexibility for our holiday guests. Out & About Bosilliac Cottage is half a mile away from the village of Mawnan Smith which offers good local amenities with several shops, a hair dresser, gift shop, Italian restaurant and the Red Lion pub. The busy port and harbour of Falmouth is just 4 miles away from the cottage, providing a good variety of shops, sailing and watersports facilities, beaches and interesting attractions to visit including Pendennis Castle and the National Maritime Museum Cornwall. From Falmouth, there are passenger ferries to St Mawes and the Helford to enable you to enjoy the coastline from the water. For those guests who enjoy walking, the coastal paths along the Helford Estuary and the numerous country paths and lanes surrounding Mawnan Smith are easily accessible.
