Curgurrell Farm
The Barn at Curgurrell Farm is situated in the heart of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula, with lovely views over the fields out to Gerrans Bay and the Nare Head. Curgurrell Farm is a small working farm with South Devon Cattle, sheep, chickens, ducks and Gloucester Old Spot pigs.
Gloucester Old Spot pigs We have a small shop in the farmyard from which we sell garden produce as well as the crabs, lobsters and fresh fish that are caught from our boats fishing from Portscatho.
Path to the Sea The Cove Our fields run right down to a delightful cove, which is excellent for swimming, shell hunting and fishing. There are also wonderful sandy beaches at Porthcurnick and Pendower, which can be reached either by the coastal footpath which runs along the edge of the farm, or by road. The nearest villages are Portscatho and St Mawes, which have good shops, pubs and restaurants.
Curgurrell is ideally placed as a base from which to visit the rest of Cornwall; many places of particular interest (Eden, Heligan, Falmouth Maritime Museum, St Ives, the Helford river, to name a few) are less than an hours drive away, and the King Harry Ferry is a short distance from the farm which helps to make West Cornwall more accessible. But many of our visitors are happy just to walk down to the coves and beaches below the farm and not to have to drive anywhere.

There are night storage heaters in the sitting room, both bedrooms and the passageway by the kitchen, and a heated towel rail in the bathroom. There is a washing machine and a tumble dryer in a separate building in the farmyard especially for visitor’s use, as well as plenty of freezer space if required..
