Cuckoo Cottage is a charming cottage in a semi-rural location 2 miles from the sandy beach at St Michael’s Mount. It is situated in the small village of Crowlas with easy access to the A30.

The cottage provides an ideal base for exploring West Cornwall’s beautiful coastline and many attractions. Within a short drive are: St Ives with its safe sandy beaches and Tate Gallery; the spectacular coastal scenery of Lands End; the surfers paradise of Sennen; coves and harbours at Lamorna, Mousehole and the cliff-top Minack Theatre; many glorious gardens including those of the National Trust and the Lost Gardens of Heligan; Penzance with its boat and helicopter trips to the Scilly Isles and the Eden Project which is 30 miles distant. A great base for walker, artists and photographers.

Cuckoo cottage is a semi-detached traditional granite stone and cob cottage it faces south with a small cottage garden and patio area to the front. The back garden is gravelled with a small patio and parking for two cars. There are fields to the front and back extending up the Ludgvan Valley, yet the village shop and pub are only three minutes walk away. A short walk up the lane gives a splendid view of Mounts Bay.

The cottage is well equiped and comfortably furnished, It has accommodation for four people. The sitting/dining room has an inglenook fireplace at one end and conventional coal fire at the other. A TV, DVD, CD player and WiFi are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, fridge, dishwasher, automatic washing machine, dryer, microwave and plenty of cupboards and worktops. The downstairs bathroom is spacious with bath and shower.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one double one twin. Both bedrooms have washbasins and shaver points. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Heating and hot water are by electricity for which there is a £1 meter and there is a payphone for outgoing calls.

Well behaved pets can be accommodated by arrangement.

Bookings are from Friday (3pm) to Friday (10am). Bookings are available a year in advance.

A 25% deposit is payable at time of booking with the balance one month before the commencement of the let.
