Helford River
The Helford River flows from Gweek to the sparkling waters of Falmouth Bay. Immortalised by Daphne du Maurier and her novel, Frenchman's Creek, the river is a paradise for wildlife which can be viewed from the footpaths which meander along the wooded creeks, inlets and riverbanks.
Visitors can enjoy paddling about in a hire boat, swimming from one of the small coves or just sitting and admiring the magnificent unspoilt views of the Helford area.
