| Local Area |
| South West Cornwall
is renowned for its natural beauty and variety
of attractions. Seworgan is close to the village
of Gweek, situated at the top of the Helford
river and now well known for the 'Seal Sanctuary'.
|
| The Helford River
with its tranquil beauty is in sharp contrast
to 'The Lizard Peninsula'. Beautiful dramatic
coast with endless walks. Quaint villages
and magnificent coves with sandy beaches to
visit. |
| Falmouth in the
opposite direction with its third largest
harbour in the world, is well known as a maritime
centre. It has many attractions and one can
take a trip on the ferry to St Mawes or via
the River Fal to Trelisick gardens. |
| The climate is
conducive for many outstanding gardens. Trebah
and Glendurgan are but a few miles away, and
for the more energetic several Golf courses
are within easy reach. A wide range of public
houses and restaurants in the locality cater
for all tastes. |
