Open plan interior ground floor living and dining area with wood-burning stove. Attractive galleried bedroom with en-suite bathroom on the first floor. Lofty windows set into thick granite walls and a high vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and trusses - a light and spacious interior area. Very rural, yet only three miles from the busy market town of Helston and conveniently located for the soft sandy beaches of Porthleven and Praa Sands and for exploring West Cornwall and the Lands End area. seventh visit to Chywood, first time with the ‘new owners’. The barn
is still our favourite retreat. Wonderful hosts with every care taken
to meet our needs and with our comfort in mind. A lovely
relaxing week in a beautifully furnished home. Cornwall must be at its
best for wild flowers at this time of year (May). Really
comfortable and cosy barn with every home comfort. Thank you for allowing
us to share your peace and tranquillity. Have very much enjoyed our
stay and hope to return. Our
third visit. Thanks to Chris and Andrew for making our stay so enjoyable. Our
first visit and definitely not the last! Great hosts, great weather,
