Cosy sitting/dining room with open fire
After enjoying a breath-taking walk along one of the coastal paths, curl up on one of the sofas in front of the fire and either watch TV with DVD and video, listen to the radio or play your favourite CDs on the radio/CD player. Eventually retire to bed up the open-plan wooden stairs to the galleried bedroom and en-suite bathroom.

Double Bedroom
Galleried double bedroom
This beautifully appointed room with its large five-foot double bed is another ideal place to snuggle up. Even though banisters run down one side of the room by the open-plan stairs, you still have all the privacy you need in your own little hideaway.
Spacious en-suite bathroom
Leading off the bedroom, again with a wooden floor, this exceptionally large bathroom offers everything you need to pamper yourselves – including bath with power shower, wash basin, toilet and heated towel rail.

Well-equipped kitchen
The lime-washed oak units provide a fun place to cook whether you use the electric oven to rustle up a roast dinner or just microwave your favourite meal. The large fridge-freezer gives you the option of minimising your shopping trips, and the dishwasher takes away the strain of washing-up! Alternatively, just open the stable door and chill out with a drink on the patio.
Private patio garden
In the summer, why not dine al fresco and enjoy a barbeque on the patio? Fresh fish from Port Isaac’s daily fish market or speciality sausages or chops from the local butcher in Camelford are to be recommended!

Utility Room

Location

Rooky’s Nook is located in the heart of the rural hamlet of Trewalder on the north coast of Cornwall. Local shops and pubs can be found either 1 mile away at St Teath, 4 miles away at Camelford or 10 miles away at Wadebridge. The capital city of Truro with its cathedral and shopping centre is easily reached by car.

Rooky’s Nook is ideally situated to take advantage of the stunning North Cornwall coastline and its fantastic beaches, the ancient castle of Tintagel and the King Arthur legends, the picturesque village of Boscastle and the pretty fishing village of Port Isaac. Slightly south of Rooky’s Nook is the Camel Estuary and Camel Trail, a 17-mile cycle track, Rock and Padstow, and the beautiful sandy beach at Daymer Bay. Other delights of this magnificent coast can be found in places like Polzeath, Newquay and Bude where rolling Atlantic breakers offer exhilarating year-round surfing.

Alternatively head inland on to Bodmin Moor to discover its archaeological heritage and mining history in this truly wild area, and perhaps visit Rough Tor, one of the highest points among the tors which 18th century druids worshipped as rock idols.
