4 Hillside is situated
in the parkland grounds of Penstowe Manor, a 19th
century Cotswold-style manor house.
This self-contained bungalow
sleeps 4 people, in two bedrooms (one double,
one twin bunks), and there is a kitchen, lounge
and bathroom with electric shower. A new kitchen
and bathroom have been fitted for 2007. There
is a patio area to the front of the bungalow,
accessed via the patio doors. 4 Hillside is fully
equipped to a high standard and includes a microwave,
TV, DVD player & Freeview. A cot and a highchair
are available free of charge. The beds are made
up for your arrival (bedlinen is not provided
for the cot). Electricity is provided via a coin
meter. Our Welcome Pack in the bungalow provides
lots of useful information and ideas to help get
your holiday off to a perfect start.

Penstowe & the Surrounding
Area

Penstowe is located to
make an ideal touring centre for both Cornwall
and Devon, England's most popular holiday area.
Enjoy spectacular coastal walks or explore the
sandy bays, smugglers' coves, rocky pools and
cliffs.
The village of Kilkhampton,
a ten minute walk from Penstowe, has two pubs,
a fish & chip shop, a post office, and other useful
shops. The nearest beach is at Sandymouth, less
than 2 miles away and the town of Bude is 6 miles
along the coast. Bude is internationally famous
for surfing, and the area also offers excellent
opportunities for golfing, horse riding and fishing.
Renowned for clean water,
high cliffs, golden sands and surfing, the South
West Coastal Path and the dramatic scenery of
the Atlantic Heritage Coast offer something for
all.
Other local sites to
visit include Boscastle, King Arthur’s Castle
at Tintagel, Newquay, the Eden Project, Bideford,
Barnstaple & the beautiful village of Clovelly.
