Sea Spell is set in its own grounds in an area of outstanding natural beauty, 400m from Constantine Bay and adjacent to Trevose golf course. A public footpath leads from the garden to the centre of the sandy beach.

Moira Warnock, who owns and runs Sea Spell, lives at the bottom of the garden and is on hand to help should any assistance or advice be required. She offers a warm welcome to an immaculately clean apartment where you will find everything necessary for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Beds are made with fresh white linen. Towels and tea towels are supplied. Clean linen and towels are provided weekly. There is a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers. Mobile phones do not work here but do not despair as there is a pay phone in the lobby.

Well behaved dogs are welcome at Sea Spell with the owner's prior permission. Dogs must be kept under control in the grounds and must not be left unattended in the apartments and, for obvious reasons, no bitches in season are allowed.

Sea Spell is adjacent to the 2nd Fairway of Trevose Golf and Country Club which has an eighteen hole course (handicap certificate required), a nine hole course and a second nine hole course for beginners with 7 par threes and 2 par fours.

Constantine Bay is only a 400m stroll either through the garden gate and down the footpath or along the beach road. St Merryn Parish boasts "Seven Bays for Seven Days" but it takes much longer than a week to discover all the glorious beaches in the vicinity, from tiny rocky coves to the gloriuos sandy stretches of the Camel estuary.

Dogs are allowed on Constantine, Harlyn and Treyarnon beaches, but not on Trevone, which is an ideal bay for families with small children. Life guards patrol the beaches from May to September.

St Merryn village (2.5 miles) has two convenience stores, two pubs, three restaurants, a post office, newsagents, a petrol station and garage, a wine bar, a fish and chip shop/restaurant and a beautiful 750 year old church. There is also a charming tea room and a pasty/sandwich shop.

Padstow (5 miles) is a delightful harbour town with a number of excellent restaurants and some very welcoming pubs. There are banks and building societies, a chemist, bakers and general stores and a variety of other shops. Tesco is just outside the town.

For walkers there is a public footpath at the garden gate which leads to the beach where you can join the South West Coast Path. To the west the path leads to Bedruthan Steps and beyond to Newquay, and to the east via Trevose Head the path reaches Padstow.

Beyond Bedruthan, about 6 miles from Sea Spell, is the Merlin Golf Course at Mawgan Porth.
