The
Apple Store is an exquisite wing of a large Georgian house
overlooking the historic port of Charlestown. Built in the
late eighteenth century, the port of Charlestown is largely
unchanged and is now home to three tall ships - Phoenix, Kaskelot
and Earl of Pembroke. |
| Charlestown
is approximately 10 minutes from both the Eden Project and the
Lost Gardens of Heligan. It is also ideally situated for visiting
Fowey, the Maritime Museum in Falmouth, the Tate at St Ives,
and Padstow. There are two pubs and a fabulous restaurant in
the village. |
| The
Apple Store comfortably sleeps 2 adults (and a baby) in its
large bedroom. The solid oak super kingsize bed looks over the
gardens out to sea. The sheets are from The White Company and
are the most fabulous Egyptian cotton percale (the duvet, pillows
and towels are all The White Company too!) The adjoining bathroom
has a fabulously powerful shower, loo and basin. It has everything
you might ever need.. iron, ironing board, sewing kit, alarm
clock, hairdryer, and some Daphne du Maurier books... |
| The
Kitchen has its original slate floor, a ceramic hob with an
electric oven, a microwave, a fridge with a freezer compartment,
a washing machine/tumble dryer, the kitchen table and chairs,
and again everything you might need in the cupboards (hopefully).
The sitting room has a TV with Digital TV, a DVD and a video
player, a wonderfully comfy sofa, a big armchair and a writing
desk. The table and chairs for alfresco eating are in the Orchard
Garden. |

Friday
is changeover day. The Apple Store is available from 4pm on
the day of arrival and departure time is by 10am. Absolutely
no smoking, nor animals.
