Penstowe Park Holiday Park has been awarded 4 stars by the English Tourism Council and is a beautiful setting with a 19th Century Cotswold style Manor House which offers excellent leisure facilities, as follows: -

Membership of Penstowe Leisure Facilities is available for guests staying at 27 The Park, for a small fee, payable locally at the Manor house Reception. Membership costs are approximately £48 for a family of 4 for one week.

Close to the Manor house is the former Stable Block. It contains the Stable Bar, shop, games room, an outdoor swimming pool and a children’s paddling pool. These facilities are free to use for patrons of the holiday park.

The Bude area offers its visitors a variety of holiday experiences from a relaxing short or weekend break to challenging activity holidays in natural surroundings, family holidays with nearby attractions and adventure parks, and opportunities for walking, cycling, golf and bird watching.

The area also has some of the best surfing beaches in the UK.

The village of Kilkhampton, is a ten minute walk from Penstowe, It has two pubs, a fish & chip shop, a post office, and other useful shops. The nearest beach is a national trust beach at Sandymouth bay, approximately 3 miles away.

Other nearby attractions include; the Tamar Lakes which have excellent water sports, angling and many stunning walks; the South West Coastal Path and the dramatic scenery of the Atlantic Heritage Coast. The area also offers Widemouth Bay, famous for its surfing and numerous theme parks and activities for families.
