The jewel in Cornwall's crown, this magical island has a church a medieval castle (home of the St Aubyn family for over 300 years).
An exotic garden clinging to the steep flanks, and an ancient harbour where you will find shops, restaurants and an audio-visual presentation on the history of the Mount. Access from Marazion is by foot along the causeway, or by ferry at high water. Sensible footwear is recommended.

Open: OPEN ALL YEAR. 28 March to 31 October. Castle open Monday to Friday, 10.30am to 5.30pm (last admission 4.45pm).
Castle and grounds open most weekends during the season; these are special charity open days and National Trust members are asked to pay for admission.
Shops and restaurants in village open every day November to end March: during the winter it is essential to telephone before setting out, in order to ascertain the opening arrangements on any particular day. Family ticket available.
