Porthtowan’s beach is great fun for all the family. Fantastic surf for the more adventurous and plenty of rock pools and sand for the little ones. Patrolled by life guards at peak periods the beach also benefits from the “Blue Flag” award for exceptional quality.

Porthtowan is situated in a designated area of “Outstanding Natural Beauty”. The area has recently been awarded “World Heritage Status” for its historic tin mining industry and the South West Coast Path, just a short walk from the park offers some fantastic sea views
