ABOUT COSAWES PARK

Cosawes Park is a family owned 120 acre country estate steeped in interesting history (pdf file). Purchased by the Fraser family in the 1950’s and originally run as a farm smallholding until Cornwall became one of the countries best loved holiday destinations, it was first developed as a campsite in the 1960’s.
Simultaneously, the Fraser’s began to develop a separate more permanent residential side to the Park which has now grown into an award winning residential retirement Park-Home site, which accommodates approximately 120 permanent homes.

NEXT GENERATION
With the third generation now beginning to manage the estate, Cosawes has recently seen considerable effort to improve, re-style and expand the touring and camping capabilities. The past two years have brought on-line 25 new ‘premium’ all service pitches for the more home-from-home camper and work has begun on providing a new luxury toilet and shower facility which should be complete for the 2009 season. Additionally, Cosawes has recently added wi-fi connectivity for those who need to stay connected with family, friends or work via the internet (Charges apply).
Whilst keen to constantly improve the touring and camping facilities, Cosawes Park has successfully remained loyal to campings more ‘rustic’ roots. You will not find club-houses or bars, swings, roundabouts, swimming pools or noisy attractions. Situated in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, our biggest strengths are practical facilities and the peace, quiet and un-spoilt nature of the environment. If you want the all-singing-and-dancing touring park, we are probably not for you!

LOCATION MAP
LOCAL FACILITIES
Cosawes has the best of both worlds in that it is both a secluded residence, but is also very close to local amenties. A post office and general store can be found in Perranarworthal. Twice a week a minibus to Falmouth and Truro offers a door-to-door service, or you can shop from the comfort of your own home when tradesmen call regularly. A mobile library visits the valley fortnightly.
The local doctors' surgery is three miles away at Carnon Downs and offers up-to-date treatment and facilities, but doctors are always available for house calls if necessary. Dentists and hairdressers are close by too.
A scheduled bus service runs between Truro and Falmouth and so although you will find Cosawes a welcome retreat from the busy shopping centres, these facilities are never far away should you need them.
The park owners are always on-site as are workmen and gardners, offering both advice and help with matters, and with their own high standards ensure that you are always well looked after.
