Tre-pol-pen is a Victorian home of character situated in the busy conservation area of St Ives - a few dozen steps from the sea. Almost everywhere you might want to explore is close by and on the level - with very few steep St Ives climbs to tackle! Porthminster and Harbour beaches are just a few minutes walk and Porthmeor beach and the Tate Gallery are a 10 minute level stroll.

We are surrounded by galleries, there are many shops around the corner and the nearest restaurants and cafes are almost next door. Relax and enjoy your stay with us in St Ives - you can be sure of a warm welcome and we will do everything we can to make you feel at home. We want your experience to be special.

We have one twin bedded room with separate bathroom (and cosy bath robes for your use) and two double bedded rooms with en suite shower rooms. All rooms have remote controlled TV/DVD , coffee/tea making facilities, radio alarm and hairdryer. Furnishings are modern with a fresh seaside feel. Our guest dining/sitting room has a book/DVD library.

We welcome enquiries from guests travelling alone and will offer sole occupancy in a double room where possible - the nightly rate will be higher than the "per person" rate depending on seasonal variations and length of stay. We will also always consider a one night stay outside of high season and Bank Holidays and again the rate will be slightly higher. Please ask about specific dates.

Please call or email to check availability - we will then confirm your reservation and you may pay deposit immediately by card or we will hold for an agreed period for cheque payment.

Balance of payment is by cash or credit/debit card (on departure) or cheque with bankers card (at least 4 days before departure). Please make cheques payable to "G. Puntis".

St Ives

Tre-pol-pen is located in the bustling heart of St Ives surrounded by the narrow lanes and cobbled alleyways it is famous for. Drop off your luggage and park your car at one of the various long stay car parks which are very close by - handy too for easy access to explore further afield during your stay. The sea is a few dozen steps away. If you are coming by train or bus the Railway Station is a few minutes walk, as is the Bus Station.

St Ives and its glorious award-winning beaches are quite unforgettable. Enjoy the clean golden sand and oh so blue sea, sometimes watching dolphins or an inquisitive seal playing in the bay. The narrow cobbled streets of the town twist and turn and you will be sure to get lost to start with but you will always end up back by the sea! Explore the back streets of "Downalong" (the old town) with its converted fishermans' cottages and net lofts - in high summer decked in brilliantly coloured flowers.
