Welcome to The Portarlington, home of Sheila and Barrie Jones. Portarlington is a pleasant and well-equipped family owned guest accommdation, where the emphasis is on comfort, excellent service.

Portarlington is well known for its warm and friendly Cornish hospitality in providing excellent accommodation. The dining room has separate tables.
Serving full english, continental or vegetarian breakfast.

The comfortably furnished and well appointed bedrooms are all fully en-suite and have free tea and coffee making facilities and are equipped with a colour TV. A TV lounge with digital SKY TV is also available with 24 hour access.

Portarlington is situated in a quiet private road and is only five minutes walk away from one of the most famous and attractive surfing spots in Europe, Porthmeor. The beach, one of five, is patrolled by a resident lifeguard and has been tastefully developed and provides facilities for refreshments, hiring deck chairs, wet suits and surf boards. The more leisurely pursuits of bowling and putting are also available. The harbour, town centre and other beaches are all easily accessible on foot from Portarlington.

From your morning tea to your evening beverage, we aim to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We have sufficient parking spaces for all of our guests.

The lounge at the Portarlington is situated on the ground floor at the front of the house. There is ample comfortable seating and a colour television equipped to receive Sky Digital broadcast. The lounge is available to guests 24 hours a day.
