The Nook is an AA 4 Star Highly Commended guesthouse offering a full selection of accommodation including single, twin, double and family rooms. The guesthouse location makes it ideal for family holidays in St Ives as it is conveniently close to the town’s beaches, facilities and attractions.
St Ives is lucky enough to be served by a railway link making it an accessible holiday destination for those who do not have a car whilst for those travelling by car The Nook offers private parking – something not that easy to find in St Ives!
Facilities at the Nook are of a very high standard, as indicated by our AA star rating. All rooms are freshly decorated to a high standard in a modern style. The comfort of our guests is something we take very seriously and all rooms are fitted out with facilities to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
All rooms are en suite with showers and in some cases baths also. The Nook has full central heating and radiators can be individually controlled in each room allowing you to sleep at the temperature most comfortable for you.
Within the rooms there is a colour TV, DVD player and radio alarm clock for entertainment. A hospitality tray is provided for convenient preparation of hot drinks as required. Rooms also have a hairdryer each (one less thing to pack).
For our youngest guests, The Nook offers a baby pack, again limiting the requirement to pack bulky and inconvenient items. For a small hire fee The Nook will provide a travel cot and sheet, steriliser, baby monitor, baby bath and large towel and a changing mat.
'Within The Nook guests have use of a comfortable lounge and a patio area with seating and tables making this a perfect retreat.
Family holidays in St Ives are fun-packed with a choice of three golden beaches and a bustling seaside town that offers wonderful atmosphere and plenty to see and do. St Ives is also well placed as a base from which to explore the south western end of Cornwall including the Lizard and Penwith/Lands End, Falmouth, Helston, Penzance and Truro. Though a bit of a drive, a day trip to the Eden project is perfectly feasible from St Ives.
