THE MILL HOUSE is a granite built former corn mill, some two hundred
years old. It has been our family home for many years and we now
offer hospitality to our guests in our stylish yet traditional
accommodation:
The Granary
Suite with two double en suite bedrooms, and very large sitting
room which has tv, dvd player, fridge, microwave and tea/coffee
making facilities. This area is ideal for two couples or a family
group, being totally self contained but is equally suited to one
couple, depending on availability. We are able to offer either
twin bedded or king size beds in each of the rooms.
In the cosy
Mill Suite we have one or two double bedrooms and a sitting
room (with tv, dvd player, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities)
offering a comfortable and private space in which to relax after
a busy day exploring the local area.
We are also
able to offer single occupancy of some rooms dependent on time
of year and availability.
We are only
a few minutes drive away from the EDEN PROJECT, making it an ideal
place to stay if you wish to visit this venue and only a few miles
from HELIGAN GARDENS. There are numerous pubs and restaurants
to which we can direct you for an evening meal and there are dozens
of other delightful places to visit whilst you are with us. Both
the NORTH and SOUTH COASTS are easily accessible offering opportunities
to walk and swim. To make the best use of the local facilities
you really need your own car.
We charge
from £30 per person per night for this accommodation which, of
course, includes a full English breakfast. Should you prefer,
we also offer vegetarian or continental style breakfast. We try
to offer as much organic and/or locally produced food as possible,
and, according to season, have homemade jams and marmalades.
We welcome
well-behaved pets in some of the accommodation and would mention
that we have our own dogs and cats (but the cats live outside
the house).
The Mill House
is close to one of the cycle trails which lead both to the Eden
Project and to the Wheal Martyn China Clay Museum and Country
Park - walk or cycle to Eden and save money! Plenty of room to
store your bikes if you wish to bring them with you.
