an elegant Grade II listed Georgian property dating back to the 1820s when it was built for a Packet Ship Captain. Despite its modern amenities the property has retained its character since the days when the Packet Ships set sail for global destinations.

Carolyn Hartley looks forward to welcoming you to Prospect House.

Holiday and business guests are assured of a warm welcome and a pleasant stay at Prospect House. The three double en suite rooms are located on the 1st floor all with en-suite facilities, which are named after Sailing Ships.

Water Witch
A lovely spacious double room with an oriel window overlooking the garden and stairs down to the en suite bath/shower room.

Falmouth Packet
This twin bedded room is furnished with antiques and has a very relaxing atmosphere. This room has an en suite shower.

Guiding Star
A very pretty double room with a 5ft. bed and en suite shower.

All rooms are spotlessly clean and tidy, a pre-requisite for obtaining AA 4 Diamond rating. Tea and coffee facilities are available at any time from the cubby-hole, a little kitchenette with fridge and kettle situated on the 1st floor landing.

A traditional English cooked breakfast is served in the elegant dining room with French windows overlooking the garden. Guests are able to relax in the guest lounge or in the fine Victorian greenhouse in the walled garden with small lawns, shrubs, plants and roses which thrive in the mild tropical climate.

We are quite relaxed about the clock and have a very flexible approach to breakfast times. Check in time is between 4.30pm and 7.30pm and check out time is 10.00am unless pre-arranged.
