We live in a very special place, an area of designated natural beauty. We know that we are very lucky and we would like to invite you to share our good fortune by staying with us at our home in the Roseland Peninsular. We have the best of both worlds, we are surrounded by wildlife yet within 5 minutes we can be on unspoilt golden beaches. Pelyn lies in its own grounds of 18 acres within a valley, beside a creek, which is an inlet from the Percuil River. Our grounds consist of pasture, woods, over 3 acres of landscaped gardens and a wildlife pond. We also keep a few sheep, a retired horse and some chickens, which provide us with beautiful dark yellow yolk eggs for our guest’s breakfast. |

Breakfast Breakfast is served in our conservatory (summer only), overlooking the garden and valley. In the winter it is served in the dining room. Our breakfast menu varies from a full English breakfast to fresh fruit. During the summer months and when in season, there is a bowl of our own gorgeous raspberries. We use only fresh local produce for our breakfasts and cater for dietary needs when pre-warned. |

| Why
not treat yourself to our Special Lobster Supper? Freshly caught by our local fisherman and then cooked here at Pelyn and served simply with a mixed salad and new potatoes washed down with a complimentary bottle of wine. Followed by a homemade dessert or cheese and finishing with coffee. |

Local Area The picturesque village of St.Mawes is 10 mins drive away. From there you can take a pedestrian ferry to Falmouth where you can visit the Maritime Museum or choose any of the 'Fal links' boats to explore the area. Take the famous 'King Harry Car Ferry' from Philleigh across to Feock for a short cut to the City of Truro and surrounding areas. A few minutes drive away are unspoilt golden beaches where there are rock pools and coves to explore with gently shelving sand, safe for small children. |

The fishing village of Portscatho is 2 mins drive, 20 mins walk away. It lies in a sheltered cove in the corner of Gerrans Bay. There are two pubs which serve good food, a general store and some galleries including the famous 'Sea Garden' to explore. There are rambles and walks in abundance and you can follow the southwest coastal path on the many woodland and National Trust pathways close by. |
